Somewhere Out There

Somewhere Out There merges San Francisco and New York City as the Oz utopia of queer culture.

Urbanization, just as higher education, has been cited as a cause of homosexuality. From an outsider perspective, the big city would be viewed as a corrupting force. Alternatively, the appeal of larger cities can be a haven to queers, finding a sense of community and experiences not available in less progressive locations.

Seen as meccas for queer youth, New York City and San Francisco, once combined, offers the powerhouse locale somewhere over the rainbow.
